■ May 31.—The weather of late has been very cold, and' wintry. , Wedding.—A very quiet but pretty weeding was celebrated at Dunblane, Herbert, the residence of the bride's parents. Ihe contracting parties were M* George Ormandy and Mies Emma Beckingsale. The bride wore a prety white voile dress and veil, and carried! .a shower bouquet or white chrysanthemums and asparagus fern. The bridesmaid was the bride's sister, Miss Bessie Beckingsale, who was neatly gowned, and carried a bouquet of yellow chrysanthemums with asparagus fern. Mr UuWJ Ormandy, brother of the bridegroom, v.as best man. The bride was given away by her father. The bride's mother wore, a gown of black satin. The marriage was folemnised by the Rev. P. C Rennie who spoke of the fine qualities of -the bride-and tne loss she would be to the district as she was loved by all. The wedding breakfast table was most tastefully arranged, and the guests sat down to a sumptuous repast.
