EMPLOYMENT OF RETURNED SOLDIERS.
WELLINGTON, June 26. Certain modified proposals have been ae-
coptod by the Government with respect to the Order-in-Council regarding the suspension of awards to permit oi the employment of returned soldiers. The suggestion by trade unions that, a board bo set _up in each centre, consisting of representatives of the union concerned and also of returned soldiers, with an independent chairman, will bo adopted.
