EXPLOSION AT OHAKUNE.

SIX MEN KILLED. TWO OTHERS INJURED. WELLINGTON, May 15. The secretary of the General Post Office received a telegram to-night from the postmaster at Ohakune, stating that an explosion had occurred at the Public Works quarry at Ohakune, resulting in six men being killed and two injured. The names of the dead are: Melsopp. Larking, Davies, M'Garry, Torrens, and M'Kay (?M'Call). The injured men aro Sheehy and Morgan. There are no further details.
