PETROGRAD, September 29. It is reparted that the 4ist German Army Corps has been overtaken by a flood in the Pinsk Marshes. It is be. iieved that nearly ali perished. IN THE DVINSK REGION. ENORMOUS GERMAN LOSSES. LONDON, September 28. A message from Amsterdam states that the German losses in the Dvinsk district are enormous. The number of killed in the last few daj-s is estimated at 14,000. PETROGRAD, September 29. A communique states ; There is fierce fighting in the Dvinsk, Mehuiany (?), and Baranovitch regions. The enemy are attacking with large forces at many points to the south of Pripet aud on the Galician front. After furious bayonet encounters we occupied Vorobievka, north-west of Tarnopol, A SIGNIFICANT SIGN. AMSTERDAM, September 29. The booty taken .at the battle of Yilna included three guns, 70 officers, and 21,908 men. North-east of Vischneff we broke down the enemy’s positions, taking 3300 prisoners and capturing nine machine guns.
