EXPORTS FROM NEW ZEALAND. WELLINGTON, August 12. Already this month five big steamers have been despatched with full cargoes of meat purchased under the Imperial Government meat supply scheme. There were the Indrapura, La Blanca, Delphic, Athenic, and Corinthic, and five others (the Ruahine, Somerset, Opawa, Tainui, and Makarini) are timed to leave by the 29th inst. Since the inauguration of the scheme 30 steamers have been despatched, carrying 153,436 quarters of beef, 1,116,115 carcases of mutton, and 1,767,873 carcases of lamb purchased on behalf of the Imperial Government, and 13,751 quarters of beef, 92,058 carcases of mutton, and 124,117 carcases of lamb have been loaded into the five vessels at present on the loading berths in the dominion. The meat in

store awaiting shipment on July 31 was equal to 1,865,283 carcases of 60ili, and the total payments up to and including the 10th inst. amount to £3,375,755 19s sd.
