SYDNEY, July 15. The Farmers’ Conference carried the following motion ; —“That this conference, in view of uniting forces to combat socialism and class legislation, appoint a sub-commit-tee to draw up a fighting platform and to report on the feasibility of framing an approver progressive policy capable of cementing all interests opposed to the present Government.” The committee was appointed. A resolution was passed unanimously that none of the farmers should hand over his wheat to the Government without a struggle should the Government decide to appropriate the coming crop.
