AUSTRIA’S EMPEROR.
VIENNA, July 6. 'The Emperor Franz Josef, in a letter to his people, reminds them that they have shared his sorrows and joys for 65 years. He puts trust in their deep love for him, and declares that the fanaticism of a small band of misguided men cannot shake his house. He adds: “ This fresh and painful trial which God’s unfathomable decree has imposed upon me and mine will strengthen me in my resolve to follow the way I know to be right.”. July 10. The Government is requesting Servia to discover and punish the originators of the recent assassinations and to prevent future agitation of Servians in Bosnia.
