WALLACE A. AND P. SHOW.

(From Ouk Own Correspondent.) INVERCARGILL, November 19. The Wallace Agricultural and Pastoral Show, held at Otautau to-day in splendid weather, was the most successful held in regard to stock, the entries for which were very large. As is usual at this show, the draught horses wore a feature, and the quality exhibited compared well with past years. In draughts the question of type was. as is now usual, a debatable quantity, and complaints were rife regarding the exhibits in this respect. In light horses the hackney section was a very strong one. Light horses were not frequent, but wero of the first-class order. The dairy produce section was good, both in regard to quality and quantity. In sheep, pigs, and dogs there was no noticeable difference from previous years, but the quality was, as in past years, good. This show has now established itself as the premier of its kind in Western Southland, notwithstanding the fact that two other similar fixtures are now being run annually.
