SMALLPOX EPIDEMIC

SYDNEY, November 11. Three smallpox cases were reported in the city to-day. There were also two suspected cases at Maclean. November 12. One fresh case of smallpox has been reported. Three cases have been reported from Adelong and one from Temora. The lastnamed case was that of a fight promoter. The case was diagnosed as smallpox after the man had attended a contest where 300 people, were present. November 13. Four fresh cases of smallpox were reported to-day. November 14. One case of smallpox was reported today. November 17. One case of smallpox was reported todav. There are 80 patients in quarantine, five convalescents, and 61 contacts.
