LEGITIMACY CASE.
SAN FRANCISCO, October 29.
A Grand Jury is considering whether it will bring a perjury charge against certain witnesses in the Slingsby legitimacy case.
Lieutenant Slingsby, of the British Navy, and his American wife are endeavouring to prove that a child aged three years is their legitimate son, but other members of the Slingsby family t>eek to show that the child was changed at birth, and that its parents were a Santa Rosa High . School girl and a chaffeur. Large estates depend on the issue.
