BERLIN, April 22. A certain section of the Press charges General Von Heeringen with bargaining 'v with Ur Liebknecht. The newspaper Germania hints that the army is plotting to secure General Von Heeringen’s downfall. April 25. Tiie Budget Committee has adopted the Centre party’s motion to investigate the armament scandals. The committee has refused to ratify the War Office’s expenditure of 3,000,000 marks for erecting buildings for the Emperor’s Military Cabinet. It is considered that the War Office has violated the Reichstag’s prerogatives. April 26. ' Privy Councillor Hugenbierg, chairman of Krupps’ works, denies the cliargcs of Bribery. He states that “ his firm receive dozens of secret reports daily, and these secret reports are our daily bread.” April 27. The Minister of Herr Von Heeringen, replying to tl>e {Socialists in the Reichstag regarding thi case against Krupps, said that it would come before the court and be cleared up regardless of persons.
