ST. GEORGE'S DAY
LONDON, April 23. St. George’s Day was widely celebrated, /oses being generally, worn. The Duke of Connaught attended a" service in the chapel of St. Michael and St. - George in St. Paulas Cathedral. The Victorian Premier (Mr Watt), the Hon. T. Mackenzie, and the representatives of other States went to Stratford-on-Avon and assisted in hoisting the Dominions’ flags.
