MUTUAL FIRE INSURANCE ASSOCIATION.
A meeting of the Otago Farmers' Union Mutual Fire Insurance Association was held at Mr Hugh Mitchell's office on' the 7th. There was a good attendance of directors, Mr William Grey presiding. A large amount of correspondence ; was read expressing satisfaction at the reduction of rates made by the directors. It was reported that very satisfactory arrangements had been made with the State Fire Office a* to The Secretary reported that there had been an increase of £5722 of insurance since last meeting of directors, the total now standing at £160.431.
