m SYDNEY, April 9. The jockey Matthews, who fell with Bolton and Shanahan in the Nursery Handicap yesterday, died to-day from a fractured skull. Bolton had four ribs j broken, and Shanahan has a badly injured Jeg. i The filly Mayrab was badly injured in the Nursery Handicap, and had to be de- ' jtroyed. !
