TURCO-ITALIAN WAR
BLOCKADE INITIATED. BRITISH STEAMER SEIZED. PERIM, April 2. The Italians have notified that a blockade of Loheia has commenced. The Kumaran cut the cable between the Kumaran and the mainland, and seized the British steamer Woodcock. ROME, April 2. Three thousand Turks attacked fro;n various points the new forts that are being constructed at Tobruk. The artillery compelled the Turks to retire. LONDON, April 6. The Timcs's Tripoli correspondent states that peaceful activity is gradually gaining sway in Tripoli, and there is every prospect of successful co-operation between the Italians and Arabs in the development of the country. Since the oasis was cleared there has been no appreciable widening of the Italian boundaries, nor has a single yard been gained since Gargarest was occupied on January 20.
