FIGHTING IN AFRICA
CAIRO, April 2. Major Levenston's expedition against the Anuaks for raiding the Nuer tribe resulted in a severe fight amid thick bush at Odongo, on tho Abyssinian border. The Anuaks suffered heavy losses, and abandoned their villages. Captains Lichtenberg and Kinahan, and three Egyptian officers and 42 Soudanese soldiers were killed, and a number wounded.
