Scout will be pleased to receive new* from Scoutmasters or Scouts. or from any peraon interested in the Boy Scout move ment. for insertion in this column; contributions addressed to Scout to leach this office before Thursday evening.

The Ravensbourn© Scouts will go into camp for 10 days from Eaturday next. Scouts are asked to take special care of all models that they have made, as it is intended to have an exhibtion of Scoutcraft at an earl ydute. I am pleased to welcome to our ranks Scoutmaster Gibson, who lias been away from tho district for some considerable time.

There is at present keen competition among several troops as to the gaining of proficiency badges. On© troop has at present over 40 badges, and is still forging ahead.

There is just a chanc© that there will be several applications this month for King’s Scout badges. In view of tho near approach of the General’s visit to Dunedin, it has been decided to commence work for this visit. It has been decided to arrange for a monster circular rally in one of the parks. There will be a special display of work by each battalion. Tho Raven.sbourne Scouts met in tho school gymnasium on Wednesday evening. There were 15 Scouts on parade under Mr Georg© Tapp. The .work of the evening comprised signalling, physical drill, and a social evening was held at the close for tho purpose of saying farewell to Mr Gillies, who has done some splendid work for tho company. A 10 days’ camp will be held at an carlv date
