N.Z.B.A. CHAMPION RINKS FINAL. -Tho final in the N.Z.B.A. tournament Champion Rinks, which was postponed at the twelfth head owing to rain setting in while play was proceeding on the Dunedin Green on January 3, was concluded on the Taieri Green on. the 9th instant. The two rinks were: —A. Cameron, D. M'Laohlan, J. M'Lachlan, D. Stevenson (Taieri), and A. Christie, \V. Allan, J. Tait, W. Carswell (Taieri), and at the twelfth head the scores were 13—o in favour of Steveneon. Carswell sooned a single on the thirteenth and fourteenth heads, while Stevenson ©cored 2 on the fifteenth head, 1 on the sixteenth, and 2 on the seventeenth head. The next head was a tie, but on the nineteenth Carswell scored 3, the scores then being: Stevenson 18, Carswell 11. Stevenson notohed a single on the twentieth head, and Carswell added 3 to his score on the head, the game ending: Stevenson 19, Carswell 14. NORTH END v. ST. KILDA. The members of the North End Club to take part in the inter-centre match, assisted by some members of the Southland Club, played a match against St. Kilda Club on Thursday afternoon. At the afternoon tea interval tho President of the St. Kilda Club (Mr Stoneham) heartily weloomed the visitors, and Messrs Holloway, Hain, and Mr C. R. Smith (president of the Dunedin Centre) replied. The game ended in a victory for St. Kilda, the scores being as follow : St. K. S. Berry, D. C. Cameron, Ewing, White 31

NORTH END v. CALEDONIAN. This match was played on the Caledonian Green on Thursday evening, the home team being, victors by a gcod margin. After the match the visitors were entertained by the members of the Caledonian Club. Mr Browne occupied the chair, and a very enjoyable evening was spent, with toasts and music. Scores:—■

KAITUNA v. NORTH END. A game between four rinks of members of the above clubs was played on the Kaituna Green on Friday afternoon, and resulted in a .handsome victory for the visiting players. Mr Walker (president of the Kaituna Club) welcomed bhe visitors, and Mr Loudon suitably responded. Afternoon tea was ably dispensed by lady friends of the Kaituna Club. The following are the scores:

DUNEDIN v. NORTH END. The tour of the Invercargill bowlers, so far as inter-club games are concerned, was concluded on Friday evening with a win over the Dunedin Club. The men from the Sunny South were " up " in every rink. They played a very sound game, and thoroughly deserved their win. A very pleasant evening was spent in song and story, and the visitors were heartily oongraulated on their good play, and the fine sporting spirit in which they had played the game. The green was in splendid oondition, and came in for general praise from the visitors. Players and scores:—

INTER-CENTRE MATCH. DUNEDIN v. SOUTHLAND. The Southland bowlars who have been paying a visit to Dunedin brought their stay to a conclusion on Saturday afternoon after playing a game against eight picked rinks representing the Dunedin Centre. The match was played on the Caledonian Green. The weather at times was rather threatening, but remained fine, and a most enjoyable day wan spent by the players, all the games p;ivin-j crood exhibitions of bowling, and some beintr fairly closely contested. The match resulted in a win for the Dunedin players, the scores bein<j: Dunedin, 171 points; Southland, H 7. In the morning the visitors were entertained at lunch in the Excelsior Hotel, the president of the Dunedin Centre (Mr j ('. R. Smith) presiding over tho gathering, and thev returned to Invercargill by by tho second express. Scores :

INTERCLUB MATCHES. Tnterclub matches in the Dunedin Centre were resumed on Saturday, and resulted as follows: Dunedin defeated N.E. Valley (eight rinks) by 158 to 130. Balm.acewan defeated Kaikorai (four rinks) bv 87 to 65. The game was played on the Kaikorai Green, which the visitors foima to be both keen and true. St. Kilda defeated St. Clair (four rinks) by 114 to 53. In a game between cfllts tho St. C'kiir rink was successful bv 28 to 14. Taieri defeated Roslyn (eight rinks) by 157 to 136. Caledonian lefeated Kaituna (six rinks) by 134 to 119. Otago defeated Green Island (six rinks) by 131 to 119. Caversham defeated Mornington (six rinks) by 118 to 114. AUCKLAND TEAM ON TOUR. CHRISTCHURCH. January 14. Eight rinks of Auckland bowlers arrived from, the north yesterday on a tour of the South Island. The visitors were formally welcomed this morning by the president of the Christchurch Centre. They will play four games here to-day and to-morrow against rinks from clubs affiliated to the Christchurch Centre
