LONDON, January 2. Lord Cromer, Lord Cur/,on, Lord Loreburn, and also Mr Harcourt will address a mass meeting in the Albert Hall in opposition to women’s suffrage on February' 28. NEW YORK, January 7. The San Francisco women voters, who desire to make the bast use of their newly-granted franchise, asked Mr For bee Robertson’s advice, but the famous English actor would not attempt to outline a definite programme for them. He contented himself with emphasising the statement that the stage had aided the cause of women’s emancipation by the discussion of present-day conventions.
