DR MAWSON’S PARTY.
SYDNEY, January 2. Last night a wireless operator got into communication with Dr Mawson’s expedition at the Macquaries, and wished them a happy New Year. He got a reply. He had previously heard them talking with H.M.S. Encounter on the New Zealand coast.
