A GRAVE DESECRATED

VIENNA, December 27. A window in a vault in St. Mark’s Cemetery was broken, and the remains of Alexander Karageorgovitch, King Peter’s father, were taken out of the coffin. The skull was stolen, but the jewels were untouched. During the miscreant’s flight the lower jaw separated from the rest of the head and was lost. The outrage is ascribed to a Servian revolutionary society called the Black Hand.
