December 20.-—The dressmaking class, under the auspices of the Otago" EducaI tion Board, concluded its first term on Saturday last. There -was a display of the puoils’ work, consisting of slip bodices, plain blouses, skirts, dainty blouses, costumes, children’s frocks, boys’ suits, dress- ■ ing gowns, dressing jackets, princess petti- | coats, and men’s pyjamas. The work reflected great credit on the teacher (Miss M. M. Hooper). The pupils and their friends , both expressed the .hope that a similar class I would be held next year.
