MEMORIAL IN PARIS. PARIS, October 22. Sit F. Berti, the British Ambassador, Jpiveiled a bust of the late King Edward fa the British Chamber of Commerce. Sir Reid and Sir W. Hall-Jones were jjtoongst those present. 9Fhe members of the chamber gave a ■banquet in honour of the occasion. Mr Samuel, replying to the toast of the British Cabinet, said that England rejoiced fTthe mutual settlement of the Moroccan 'difficulty, with free commercial access for |S. nations. Britain never aspired to emibroiT one country with another. Her ImMtion was to promote international goodwill. She did not raise difficulties tovet Morocco nor exercise pressure on Irance. Sir G. Reid, in responding to the toast »f the overseas dominions, offered a wel-
come to a certain class of European «et,tl«rs. He said that Australia would be able to supply. Europe's need of an abundance, of cheap food.
