HOME RULE FOR IRELAND
LONDON, October 5
It is reported in Dublin that the Government Home Rule Bill provideg for a gift of ten millions to start the new Porlia : intent. The Government's chief difficulty relates to the attendance of Irish members at Westminster.
Discussing the question of Home Rule at a Unionist demonstration at Selkirk, Mr Lyttelton (Colonial Secretary under Mr Balfour) said that-as long as they had the opportunity of full and fair'debate they should rely on argument, and not resort to menaces of force.

Mr Dillon declares that the forthcoming Home Rule Bill will be at least as good as Mr Parnell's bill of 1886, and perhaps better. He demands to know why Sir E. Carson is permitted to tour the country preaching treason, when in the old days the Nationalists were - arrested. c MELBOURNE, October-' 9.
Mr Hazleton, in responding to a welcome, said that the results of the Irish envoys' mission so far were 100 per cent, better than those of the previous missions.
