HORRORS OF BULL-FIGHT-ING
LONDON, May 29. iAi maddened bull leaped the barrier at garataflem (Portugal) durrhg a bull fight. The guards were unable to shoot owing to the panic-stricken crowd surrounding the bttlL Many were tramped on, 40 being severely hurt. The bull escaped Into the open country. Part of the bull-ring at Alhaurhi-el-Grande (Spain) collapsed while the bulls were being penned. The bulls had to be slaughtered, and 11 people were seriously injured n.Tsd manv others hiu*.
