WELLINGTON, May 28. The new field service uniform to be issued to the New Zealand Territorial Force will be of khaki with a tinge of green, and the only mark of distinction between the various ranks and battalions will be a narrow strip of coloured piping in the shoulder-straps, together with a braes regimental number and badge, if any. Colours have been fixed as follow : Field and Garrison Artillery, No. I Mounted Regiment, No. 1 Infantry Battalion—Scarlet. Engineer Services, No. 2 Mounted Regiment, No. 2 Infantry BattalionBlue. No. 3 Mounted Regiment, No. 3 In-: fantry Battalion—Green. No. 4 Mounted Regiment, No. 4 Infantry Battalion, and New Zealand Veterinary Corps—Maroon. Army Service Corps—White. Medical Services—Dull cherry.
