MILK SUPPLY.
SELLING PRICE OF BUTTER. FEILDING, April 30. A meeting of representatives of the butter companies of the Manawatu decided to set up a committe to fix the selling price of butter each month, to prevent the underselling of milk. The supply throughout the district is now falling off, though it has been exceptionally good right through the season. Most of the creameries in the district will continue to run right through the winter. The dairy farmers are growing much more winter feed, which is having the effect of increasing the yearly supply of milk.
