SYDNEY,' April 27. Mr Wade, in replying to a deputation representing the principal industries in. the State, and requesting the duplication of the Main Trunk line and the construction of cross-country lines, said th« Government proposed to carry out without delay all the more urgent duplication* on the three trunk lines. Steps were also being taken to improve the railway facili- 1 ties across the country. It would ba necessary to raise a special loan iov th? purpose. It would be dissociated fi >rt the ordinary loan policy.
