DISILLUSION
We waken from our world of dream. To hard, material things; Yet Tar above the morning gleam Is on the mountain kings. We waken from our world of dream As hotter grows the day; Yet. willows shade the cressy stream Beside the dusty way. Now once again our world of dream As falls the shadowy night; O, linger long, thou tender beam, About the lonely height. Charles Oscar Palmes.
