All. sections of the exhibits were well represented, and in numerous departments the entries constituted, a record. . In sheep. British sections, New Zealand exhibitors were well to the front. Mr John Nixon took all the prizes for English I Leicesters, including two champions and two reserve champions. W'th a Border Leicester ram,-two years, Mr Nixon secured first and champion, and with a ram. under two years, Mr J. B. Reid secured first and Mr John Rennie second and third. In.the class for ewes, two years, ?»Ir Rclnnie took first and champion, and Mr Jno. Nixon second. In the class for' ewes, under two .years, Mr J. B. Eeid secured fivSt. In the Romriey l Marsh class, for ev/cs under two years, Mr Reid secured first and reserve champion, second, and third, and in the class for rams, under two years, Mr Beixj took third prise. The principal .prizes in the other long-wool classes went to local exhibitors. The following ..awards were made in the Horse classes :—Blood stallion, four - years and. over : First and champion, Sir Aymer; second and reserve champion, Collarit. Trotters and Pacers —Stallion, four years and over : Almorit (New Zealand bred), first and champion. In heavy Clydesdales Mr Greentrees New Zealand-, bred Plucky Willie was placed first and champion; in the class for four-year-olds over, Darnley Again, another New Zealand-bred animal, was placed second and reserve champion, while for three-year-olds Royal Fergus gained first and honours, and Faird 'lvingarlock and Alexander's Pride, both New Zealandbred, secured second and third. In the class for mares, Colvin Bros.' Bonnie was placed first arid champion, and Mr Bourke's New Zealand-bred Lady Wall secured second and reserve champion. Besides Mr Boag's success with Royal • Fergus and Mr Bourke's with Lady Wall, ithe following New Zealanders secured awards :—Heavy . Clydesdales —Stallion, two,years and under : Messrs Mitchell and O'Brien's Native Chief.. second prize; Mr 'Cullen'e Rich and Rare third. Mare, two years and under': Mr" Andrew Chrystal's Tartan first, Mr Chrystal's ;Princess Helen secpnd. Clydesdales-—Active farm stalliorisvihree years; or over, Mr Boag's Royal Stewarts-first; mares, Mr Boag's Jean first. ' * ; *%g Mr ijk. ducts, was £4,000,000, .-while last year it was £10,000,000. In the Shire stallion class, thr.ee years old, the New Zealand-bred horse Brilliant Boy was placed first, bu' a protest has been entered. In the class for active farm Clydesdale staliions the New Zealandbred Lord Kyle was placed second, andi Lord O'Neill, another New Zealand horse, third.

In the butter competition the Kyogle Dairy Company won the £IOO challenge cup prasnted by the Salt Union, England.
