HURRICANE IN FIJI
; :../VSXJVA, March 25 .. A hurricane caused great damage in Suva. Many buildings were wrecked and a large amount of property was damaged. No particulars have been received- yet from the country. In a private" cablegram the Governor of Fiji states that he fears that the hurricane has done serious damage, although it is not likely to retard the prosperity of Fiji eventually. AUCKLAND, March 26. A Suva message states that news from Rewa reports that the canefields and the banana plantations have been c 1 -:troyed. The Nausori sugar mill and buildings have been badly damaged, and all the craft in the, harbour sunk.
