LICENSING COMMITTEES.
DUNEDIN SOUTH. At the quarterly sitting of the Dunedin South Licensing Committee, held orr the Ist, a tra-nsfei of the license- of the Ocean View Hotel was gi anted from John Dutton Parsons to Stephen Cairns. Mr T. Fiddis occupied the chair in the absence of Mr H. Y Widdowson, S.M., and the other members of committee present were Messrs Aslin, Botting, and Robertson. TAIERI. The quarterly sitting of the Taieri Licensing Committee, held on the 2nd inst., was attended by Mr H. Y. Widdowson, S.M., Messrs Dicker and Hay. Transfer of license of the Middlemau-ch Hotel from J. L. Baxter to William M'Corkindale, and of the Outram Hotel from Martin Wills to Bamuel Alexander Lyttle were granted. This was all the business brought before the committee.
