tions. Mr A. Walker (President) presided, and there was a good attendance of members.
It was rrsolvcd to recommend that a class for blue Leghorns should be included in the schedule; also that classes should bs inserted for breeding pairs of white Leghorns, black Leghorn*, buff Leghorns, and Minorca?.
With a view of encouraging _ young fanciers, it was decided to recommend the following classes (open to competitors who have never won a first prize in an open show): — White Leghorn cock or cockerel; white Leghorn hen or pullet; brown Leghorn cock or cockerel; black, buff, or duckwing cock or cockerel ; black, buff, or duckwing hen or pullet ; best S.C. black Minorca cockerel; bast S.C. black Minorca hen or pullet. It was resolved to nominate Messrs C. liucas and R. Wilson to judge all the Leghorn classes (with the exception of black), and Mr H Hcarfield for black Leghorns and black Minoroas. The secretary reported that the Christcliurch Poultry Club has accepted the clubs proposal to hold it? next show in conjunction with the 1910 fixture.
