NORTH AUCKLAND RAILWAY.
WELLINGTON, June 21
The Government has decided upon the ■restward route for the North Auckland line. ' It will traverse the Beekerstaffei Estate, and go through M'Carroll's Gap, and over the Northern Wairoa River, which is there navigable, north of pargaville, joining the original route in" the Mangakahia Valley. The Minister of Railways says the evidence is overwhelming in favour of this route.
