CHARGE OF MANSLAUGHTER.
SEQUEL TO A LADY'S DEATH
AUCKLAND, June 16. At the inquest on the body of Mrs Horsnell, who died from injuries sustained by a fall from an Onehunga tramcar, the jury found that death i-esulted from deceased being thro vn off a tramcar by the car starting before she had time to alight in safety. Charles ITalley and Herbert Birkett (motorman and conductor) were charged with manslaughter, and remanded on bail on a personal surety of £100 each and another surety of £100.
