Violet — I am indeed sorry, my dear comrade, that I should have seemed forgetful. I fear that sometimes I have- really more to think of than I can do justice to ; yet to hurt the feelings of a friend, personal or imipersonaL, especially at this* season, seems unpardonable! I am the more- glad that Ted and Rangiora have proved 1 so faithful, and will write au scon as possible. Country Mouse. — Thanks for your letter. my kind and hospitable friend. Heartsease. — Your affectionate- letter and pretty card were much appreciated, and T have great pleasure in passing on your friendly greetings to our C.C.C. comrades. May your hopes for the New Year, my dear girl, be more than verified. Boy and Girl Friends. — If not already expressed, accept my warm thanks for the extremely pretty card, with its kindly wishes. Shasta, Gabrielle, Kerani, and A last Ala are all thanked for their cards and greetings, and assured that I most fully appreciate and sincerely reciprocate their kindness.
