Again ideal conditions prevailed for cricket, and the fourth round of matches was concluded, Linwood, West Christohurch, and Sy den ham proving the victors. E. Humphreys, the pro., increased his score from 55 to 100 not out. and he was the only senior batsman ro reach the coveted three figures. Several other fair scores wore made, but -the total.? were poor in comparison with the earlier days of the season.

Linwood got a 3-point win over East Chribtchurch, mainly through an exceptional bowling feat l\v Keg. lxic'ley.
