BANK OF NEW SOUTHWALES.

SYDNEY, November 25. At the half-yearly meeting of the Bank of New South Wales, the refjrt showed that the met profits were £167,928, which, with the sum of £33,988 brought forward, made a "total of £201,916. A dividend of 10 per cent, was declared, £46,000 was add-ed to the reserve, and £36,916 was carried forward. The Chairman stated that during the year their advances had increased by £1,915,000. There had been a considerable demand for money lor development purposes in\ New South Wales and Queensland. "In New Zealand" also their business w4s very active. The drop in prices in Australian products had been arrested, and the outlook was distinctly more encouraging.
