THE CATHOLIC CHURCH.
LONDON, October 16. Archbishop Carr, of Melbourne, at the inauguration of the Conference of the Catholic Truth Society (Dublin), traced the growth of th& Catholic Church in Victoria. He described as astounding the progress that Catholic education had made in that State against great opposition. Cardinal Logue and Archbishop Healey participated in the Conference.
