Wheat.— Business has been a.t a. standstill. owing principally to there being no offerings on the market. As an indication of values, a case is reported of a farmer offering a small line of about 200 sacks of milling wheat at 4s 3d on trucks, and succeeding in obtaining offers of 4s 2d, which is considered full value. Fowl wheat is inquired for, but is very difficult to obtain. Oats. — The market is again quiet, the better demand whioh was reported last week having subsided. The quantity on offer is exoeedingiy email, and consists mostly of light feed, unsuitable for export. Any heavy Cartons find ready buyers for milling purposes and coastal shipment, quotations being: Milling Is lOd to 2s, heavy feed Is 9d, light feed and Danish Is 7d to Is 8d on trucks. Oatsheaf Ohaff.— The great difficulty in scouring space has hampered the trade considerably, and many ccn>tracts which were made three or four weeks ago still remain uncompleted owin,g to lack of shipping space, value for prime, bright, wellcut chaff is still £3 ss.
