He had . sued for a- divoi-ce, while Mrs Hams,"on, Annis's advice, had' issoied a counter-claim ' for divorce, alleging grave misconduct se~v«r.al militajry officers St« declared that Thornton Hams, who ii. the author of a penny horrible, is the the villain of the tragedy, and makes serious allegations regarding army life at isolated posts. All the parties are well known, and the caee attracts similar attention to Thaw's.
