AUCKLAND, August 18. The following team has been selected to represent Auckland in the football match against Wellington next Saturday under the Northern Union rules: — Full back, | Dufty ; three-quarters^ — Rowe, W. Wynyard, ' Redwood ; five-eighths— W. Tyler and S. Riley; half back, R. Wynvard ; forwards—
Mackrell, Dunning, Trevarthen, MTDonald", Gladding,, and Hooper. Of the 13 players choseni seven toured the North of England and one, S. Riley, went across and met the team in Australia, playing " several games there. , M 'Donald, Hooper, and Dufty are Auckland amateur representatives, while Redwood and Gladding are senior players.
