FURTHER ENTERTAINMENTS. SYDNEY, August 23.

The Americans were entertained at various outdoor sports which are organised in their honour. In the evening the harbour presented a magnificent spectacle. The night was dark and cloudy, and all the ships, both British and American, were illuminated, arid kept their searchlights in the form of a cris-cross, the effect being weird. A splendid display of fireworks was maintained. Between 300,000 and 400,000 people witnesed the spectacle.
