♦ NEW YORK, August 19. America has aeeented to a Dutch' , blockade of Venezuela. America's consent is confined to a blockade, and expressly excludes a military occupation of Venezuela. August 20. The Dutch Government is making naval preparations, but will suspend action against Venezuela until M. ©c Reuss, the expelled Dutch Minister, arrives at Tha Hague. , August 24.' In replying to President- Castro, the Netherlands Government emphasised its • previous demand insisting upon Venezuela/ rescinding the May decrees, which had seriously injured trade in Caracas.
