SYDNEY, April 15. A girl, aged 16 yeans, named Lilian Bridge, the daughter oi a dairy fawner, near Madtland, has been found butchered m a paddock. Her head was fearfully bafbtered by a weapon, evidently a tomahawk or aa axe. A young man nataoed Green has been arrested on suspicion. April 16. At the time of the tragedy the girl Bridgg (daughter of a dairy fanner near Maitland, and whose body was found m a paddock with the bead battered m) was on her way to meet a younger eister who was employed at the honse of th« father of the young man. Green, who baa bean arrested on. suspicion. Green was amongst those who flocked to the scene of the tragedy, and be joined m the expressions of horror.
