The Manufacturers' Association of Great Britain is despatching Mr Ben" Morgan as a commissioner to inquire into the trade, position, and prospects in Australasia and Canada, especially as to the extent and possibilities of the markets in relation to an increase in the export trade and as to the establishing of branch factories behind the tariffs ; also to report on questions relating to competition and shipping ; likewise to try and secure further reductions j in tariffs and increased preference.
