No otlier part of lihe Twdy except the waist suffers so much abuse arid -distortion! as the feet- They are susceptible to aIE -sorts of deformities, and are subject >of all! sorts of neg-lect. Many people do ; uott bathe them sufficiently often, do not -dbanga their stockings with sufficient frequency,, and do not care for them, in other ways* as they should. The soldier who cares forhis feet is the one who holds out on-vtha march, and many foreign armies have doc-- .- tors to seesthat the men oare for their feetTo tub the feet with alcohol refreshes them wonderfully, and nothing is as good for them as a vigorous alcoholque 'after they; have been wet or chilled. A famous physician declared that his income would dwindle* to j half if women k/pt feet irann. And it nya.y be added tha*; a woman's chance of "being" a corafortable, Jolly person would be improved if she would wear fhe right kind of shoes, and care for xhem and her feet properly. ' J ''
