The record of ihg new plfty if worsy o| note, hayLgg

been one of remarkable and continuous 1 success. In London it has been running -for over ten months, and according to latest files is still drawing crowded houses to the Hicks Theatre.' In America the verdict of London was endorsed. Under j Mr Williamson's regime " Brewster's Millions " has proved a phenomenal draw in Sydney, and the success will no -doubt be repeated throughout the Dominion. There are many attractive features to be considered' in the presentment of this fine comedy. In the first place, there is the originality of the plot, describing the strenuous efforts of a young American to get rid of a quarter of a million of money, which most inconsiderately persists in cominff back to him from the most unlikely investments. Then there , is the snappiness and the sparkle q£ the dialogue, which is full of smart sayings and entertaining epigrams Thirdly, there is the sensational •yacht scene- in the third act, which is described as one of the most beautiful and marvellous displays of stage mechanism ever presfnted in Australasia; and, lastly, there is a most interesting cast, headed by the popular young actor,' ]§tr Thomas Kingston, and Mrs Robert Brough, who has been induced to return to the stage she has graced for so many years, and containing such sterling players as Mr J. B. Atholwood, Mr Gregan M'Mahon, Mr (7. ~ R. Berkeley, Mr "Vivian Edwards, Mr Cyril Mackay, Mr Leonard -Willey, Mr Roland Sfaveley. Mr Lawrence Hardenge,- Mr T. W. Lloyd, Miss Florence Gleeson, Miss Nellie Fergusson, Miss Nellie Calvin, Miss Irby Marshall, Miss Mary Hungerford.Miss Edith Lewis, and .others scarcely less known The scenery embraces many magnificent spectacular effects., Box plans for the first six nights of " Brewster's Millions" will be opened at the Dresden on Saturday morning next, at 10 o'clock, PRINCESS THEITBE. Fullers' talented vaudeville company presented a most entertaining programme to a large and appreciative audience at the Princess Theatre^ on Saturday night. Among those appearing for the first time were Miss Lavinia Tyson, who established herself in a lofty niche of public appreciation by her rendering of "Good-night, beloved." Ida Ingersole, soubrette, also made a decided hit; and Delavale and Christie. James Opie, Watts and Lucas, Rupert Christie, Viotor the Great, Bert Sharp, R. H. Collins, and the Lucas Sisters duly distinguished themselves. The feature of the biograph series •was the amusing adventures of two men in a balloon, or. rather, the adventures that befel those who were not in the balloon. The anchor caught in things not intended for it. This item provoked great mirth.
