THE FIJIAN TEAM.
SYDNEY, December 11. There was a large attendance at the opening match of the Fijian cricket team's tour to-day, and much interest was taken in the game. The visitors met a strong metropolitan combination, who for the loae of nine wickets put up a score of 411 (White 109 and Bubb 100). The Fijians' bowling was smart, and their fielding came somewhat >as a surprise to the spectators. December 12. The match between the Fijian team and a Metropolitan Eleven waa continued today. The Metropolitan team put together 440 in their first innings, and the Fijians replied with 132.
