A COMPANY CRITICISED.
LONDON, December 12. The Financial News criticises adversely the prospectus 'of the United Goldfields Company of New Zealand, whose capital .is stated at £150,000, with the intention to raise it later to £300,000. [Inquiries, msude yesterday by one of our reporters did not elicit any information as to the United Goldfields Company. In all probability the Consolidated Goldfields Company, operating on the West Coast, is meant, as it is a company registered at Home with an authorised capital of £300,000, which corresponds with the amount^mentioned above."]
